Level eight of the Blue series is a trip around Australia. The students take a quick look at some of the important attractions that tourists expect to see when they visit Australia.
The students will learn the capital cities of each state and will develop some understanding of our country. The comprehension and grammar activities assist with understanding by the use of open ended questioning. Students also learn about nouns, capital letters and full-stops and also about statements and questions. This level of the reading program is suitable for middle to upper primary students.
Level 8 of the Blue Series can be used as a unit of work about Australia. It can be used as a stand alone level or in conjunction with the previous levels.
