Level eight of the Blue series is a trip around Australia. The students take a quick look at some of the important attractions that tourists expect to see when they visit Australia.
The students will learn the capital cities of each state and will develop some understanding of our country. The comprehension and grammar activities assist with understanding by the use of open ended questioning. Students also learn about nouns, capital letters and full-stops and also about statements and questions. This level of the reading program is suitable for middle to upper primary students.
If you are planning a unit of work about Australia, you can’t go past this level of the Blue Series. It stands alone or can be used in conjunction with the other levels.
